Principal Consultant
Chris Larkin
Chris Larkin is an affordable housing development professional with nearly two decades of experience creating and preserving high-quality, affordable homes for communities across the United States. Throughout his career, Chris has worked with both nonprofit and for-profit developers, including Bridge Street Development Corporation in Brooklyn, MidPen Housing in the San Francisco Bay Area, Century Housing in Los Angeles, and Brinshore Development in Chicago. Chris brings deep expertise across all phases of the real estate development lifecycle, from site selection and predevelopment through construction and permanent loan conversion. He is highly experienced in structuring and executing transactions utilizing both 9% and 4% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs), tax-exempt bonds, and layered public financing administered by agencies at the federal, state, and local levels. Over the course of his career, Chris has successfully secured and managed a wide range of capital and operating subsidies, including HOME, CDBG, Project-Based Section 8 and VASH, Continuum of Care, Capital Magnet Fund, Community Project Funding, and numerous local funding programs. His core competencies include deal structuring, responding to competitive RFPs, site evaluation and due diligence, entitlement procurement, project and transaction management, contract negotiation, construction oversight, financial underwriting, lender and investor coordination, and comprehensive compliance and reporting. Chris holds a B.A. in Urban Studies from Morehouse College and a Master of Science in Real Estate from New York University. His work reflects a disciplined, execution-oriented approach grounded in mission alignment, financial stewardship, and long-term community impact.

Yemi Alade
Yemi Alade is a seasoned real estate development and construction management professional with more than 15 years of experience delivering complex, high-impact projects across Southern California. With a strong foundation in civil engineering and nearly $1 billion in completed and active development, Yemi brings technical rigor, disciplined execution, and a community-centered approach to affordable and workforce housing. Yemi’s expertise spans the full development lifecycle, including acquisition and feasibility analysis, entitlement strategy, design coordination, construction oversight, and project delivery. He is known for driving on-time, on-budget performance while proactively mitigating risk and maintaining transparent communication among stakeholders. His professional background includes work with leading institutional developers such as Rexford Industrial Realty and Link Logistics, where he managed complex projects within highly regulated environments. A LEED AP BD+C professional, Yemi integrates sustainability, operational efficiency, and long-term resilience into every project. His work frequently incorporates solar-ready infrastructure, EV charging, energy-efficient MEP systems, and modern building standards that enhance livability while supporting long-term affordability. Yemi is recognized for his collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and his ability to navigate California’s complex regulatory and entitlement landscape. He maintains strong working relationships with public agencies, municipalities, contractors, and community partners, and brings a consistent focus on equity, transparency, and community benefit—values that align directly with the mission of affordable and workforce housing development.
